P31 12 Days of Christmas!

If you are dropping by from Karen's blog party...welcome!! Isn't Karen the best?! I just love her, and the twelve days of CHRISTmas is such a wonderful idea. If you haven't been to Karen's blog follow my link at the right to Karen Ehman's blog. She's one of the amazing P31 speakers I aspire to emulate. She is hosting an interview with each of us over the next couple of weeks. Best of all each interview features a great opportunity to win a fun Christmas prize.

So I meant to post last night, but a severe case of indigestion and Braxton Hix hit. I was relegated to a heating pad with Tums in hand for most of the night (and early morning!) Yikes. What can I say? I'm 34 weeks prego. One question, do you remember each pregnancy getting progressively worse? It seems my body is taking a beating this time. Is it because I'm taking care of a three and two year-old? Or is it that I am now older...even if only by a couple of years? Any advice from you seasoned vets out there?

Okay, I'll be back with more updates and Christmas fun tomorrow. I'm still a little out of it. I didn't get to sleep until about 4 a.m. Here's hoping the boys nap for a while today so Mom can too!

Blessings sweet bloggy friends!

Hi Whitney! Loved your interview with Karen! Could you be any more of a picture perfect family?! Hope you are doing well, despite the 'ol 34 weeksk pregnant thing. My last pregnancy was pretty hard too, with my 3rd child, but my 2nd was the worst! That could be because she weighed over 9 lbs! I miss you and look forward to seeing you again soon! Keep us posted on the baby front!

With love and Christmas wishes,

Tracie

Whitney,
I so remember those days. I found that the Braxton Hixs were stronger with each progressive pregnancy. By the time I had the 4th, I was sure several times early I was in labor because they were so strong. It will all pass, you will forget soon enough!! Are you going to be like me and forget to the point of having number 4????
Keep us posted.
Blessings,
Charlene

I loved reading about you on Karen's blog today...you are just what He created...a beautiful daughter of God. Thank you for being His daughter, a wife, a mommy, and a real woman who leads others to His heart. Sending love to you and prayers up to Him!

Linked over from Marybeth's blog. Praying for you and your baby. Your Bringing up boys post really touched my heart and has given me so much to pray and seek the Lord about regarding our son whose arrival will be sometime around April. I will be praying for a perfectly healthy baby and mom, and that the Lord will take those contractions until your son is to that perfectly healthy stage. God bless you and your family.

Hi Whitney! Not sure where you are in the baby/birthing process. Perhaps you are holding your precious little one as I type, just felt led to visit you site tonight, thankful for your precious tender spirit that splashes all over those who read your thoughts. I too have 3 children, and I think all your thoughts are in the ballpark. I experienced more contractions earlier on with each one, frustrated me in thinking I should know better in going through it yet a third time. Don't forget to rest in the moments you can (and don't feel guilty!) Have a Happy New Year!
