Thank you for this devotion. God continues to speak to me about using the things I have been through to help others. It is so hard to open up and be real about the hard things I have been through especially those mistakes I made to cause them, but I know as the scriptures say, "what satan meant for bad God means for good".

Loved your devo today and your video. I need lots of reminders about investing in friendships. I value them very much, but often fail to invest the time necessary to make them meaningful.

Blessings!

Please continue to show us the friendships of women throughout the bible. I love to learn about basic ideas this way. I so agree with the other comments posted as well, and can identify with both of them.
We need to stop doing the things that are not required to make time for things (like friends) that are much more important and meaningful.
Great video! And nice Christmas tree.

That blog entry was so cool! I loved the fact that you used a video. I feel like you were sitting in my living room talking just to me! And boy did I need you (GOD) to speak to me this morning. Your devotional and blog really hit home with me. Thank you for being God's vessel to bring His Word to us. May God bless you and your family this Christmas season. Betsy :)

Whitney,

Your message was so powerful! I look forward to reading more about it!
I know I need more friendships with woman in my life. I agree with you, that we don't get enough time for that in our lives.
So now you have set the bar Whitney for us Christian women! Lord, help me to do this! In Jesus Name I Pray! Amen!

Blessings To You!

Hi Whitney!
I totally get what you are saying. I am excited to tell the world during the season we are politically correctly allowed to about Jesus, but then I lose my focus. I blogged yesterday...if you find yourself with a spare eye to read it...about how Christmas is shaping up at our house. Lots of room to grow...

Thank you for your devotion today. It spoke to my heart. I will put into practice each and every day in the month to come! JESUS is what needs to be magnified this season!

I love the story of Mary and Elizabeth. My fav verse is Luke 1:45 in their girlfriend chat! B

Aren't you just the cutest thing! :] I stumbled upon your blog today, and I wanted to say how much I enjoyed this devotion. It is hard for me to make - and maintain - friendships, so your words have really given me something to think about! Thank you! :]

Thanks for you devo/blog. I really miss the friendships of women my age. I am 61. It seems women of all ages are subject to this! I think we DO stay where we're comfortable and don't reach out much to new people. I hope this makes us all stop and think! Women need each other! Thanks again!
